As a major within the School of Journalism & Graphic Communication, one of your biggest jobs will be to ask questions so you can gather information for your reports or designs.
But you don’t need to worry about questions regarding the resources you need as a current student. We’ve already gathered common policies and forms that you may need as you progress through the program. We also have a list of contacts for people who can help you with advisement, internships and the curriculum.
Understand the processes and get the forms you need for changing your major, requesting an excused absence or filing a grievance or complaint.
This is an archive of curriculum guides for Journalism and Public Relations from Fall 2018 to Summer 2022. These guides are specifically for students who were admitted during this time frame. If you were admitted from Fall 2022 onwards, please refer to the latest guides provided by your academic advisors and division directors.
As stated in Florida statute (1007.25), every first-time in college (FTC) student initially entering a Florida College System institution or state university in 2018-2019 and thereafter must demonstrate competency in civic literacy.
