Unlock a meaningful and exciting career and develop skills that will position you for success when you become a student within the Division of Journalism. From writing, editing and presenting to researching, interviewing and strategic thinking, you will leave SJGC with high-demand abilities and a lifetime of connections that will help you achieve your goals in news, media, storytelling, content development, and relationship-building across a range of sectors and industries.

When you study at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, you'll learn research, ethics, production, writing and editing, all of which will enable you to share information in different formats and styles.
The division of journalism has graduated notable people such as ESPN sportscaster Tiffany Greene, former mayor of Atlanta Keisha Lance Bottoms, and sports commentator Pam Oliver. Upon graduation, you'll have all the tools you need to keep the public informed.
