Our Divisions

SJGC is composed of two divisions: Journalism & Graphic Communication. Journalism offers instruction in digital, broadcast and print journalism, along with PR. Graphic Communication offers instruction in print, web, and advertising graphic design.

The FAMUAN has been the voice of the students of Florida A&M University since 1919. It is published jointly by the student body and the School of Journalism & Graphic Communication.

Journey magazine has produced award-winning content since 1984, taking a creative look at news and culture while encouraging readers to cultivate new ideas and evaluate their perspective on cultural knowledge, campus life, and personal style.

FAMU-TV 20 is an educational access cable channel that reaches 80,000 households in four North Florida counties, including Leon, Gadsden, Taylor, and Wakulla.
