Division of Graphic Communication

If you are artistic and want to work in a fast-paced, creative environment, like an advertising agency or design studios, learn the design principles and programs that can help you tell a story visually.

Our Programs

When you major or minor in graphic design, you’ll start your practical training after you take classes in mass media. For the major, keep in mind that you will need to present a capstone project to graduate.

Living and Learning

In the School of Journalism and Graphic Communication LLC, you can live and work with other graphic design majors. As you work on projects like developing marketing campaigns or work for The Famuan, the student-run newspaper, or FAMU TV 20, you will develop an impressive portfolio.
