Division of Journalism Programs

When you study at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, you'll learn research, ethics, production, writing and editing, all of which will enable you to share information in different formats and styles. Upon graduation, you'll have all the tools you need to keep the public informed.

Undergraduate

As a journalism major, you’ll take classes and gain on-air television and radio experience. If you choose the public relations track, you will learn how to communicate using social media, pitch letters, press releases, speeches and all the elements of a media kit. Students in both degrees will need to present a capstone project before graduation.
