The FAMU School of Journalism and Graphic Communication (SJGC) continues to monitor the COVID – 19 (Novel Coronavirus) pandemic based on advice from federal, state, and local health agencies. FAMU SJGC is OPEN for business.
SJGC faculty, staff, and administrators continue to work to ensure that all students are provided the educational training, resources, and support needed to be successful. The mission of the SJGC is that students will progress and maintain their paths toward graduation.

Teaching Modalities
The School of Journalism & Graphic Communication offers courses using a vareity of teaching modalities that include: Hyflex teaching modality (the Hyflex teaching modality combines face-to-face and online teaching modalities) and some courses will be taught using the Remote (online) teaching modality.
SJGC Professors will maintain office hours to communicate with students using a variety of communication channels that include:
