FAMU Alum Ray Love Jr. Pushes the Culture Forward with Will Packer Productions

Raymond Love Jr. is a Public Relations aficionado who is rising up and stepping into his new role as Digital Media Manager for Will Packer Productions. Love duties will include overseeing campaigns as well as the digital media efforts for Will Packer Productions(film) and Will Packer Media(television).

Love is no stranger to the bright lights and red carpet. He got his start in the industry working as an Operations Assistant for Rainforest Films. Rainforest Films is in fact, Packer’s first film company with fellow Rattler Rob Hardy. Love has worked his way through the industry and become a pivotal aspect of Will Packer Productions.

“I feel incredibly affirmed in my abilities and supported by the team,” said Love when asked about his new role.

After working with Rainforest films, that opened an opportunity for Love with the national marketing agency that handled the movie releases and publicity for Packer’s films. There he helped execute screenings, influencer events, and publicity for various movies. He has worked on the following movies; Think Like A Man Too, No Good Deed, Ride Along, and more.

“This opportunity is a full-circle moment as I’ve had the privilege of working with Will Packer throughout my career in varying capacities. He is undoubtedly continuing to move the culture forward and it’s incredibly exciting to be a part of the progression,” said Love on his Instagram after announcing his position.

Love graduated from FAMU in Summer 2013 with his Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a concentration in Photography. While on “The Hill”, Love was managing editor of Journey Magazine where under his leadership won Best Student Magazine in consecutive years. He also participated as a Chair for Relay For Life, member of PRodigy Student PR Firm, and even had his own independent photography company known as Definitive Photography that highlighted student life at FAMU.

Love with continue to be a pivotal force in the realm of public relations and Will Packer push film and media to new heights.
